Hence, one could only assume that these two subscription from two platform are identical. It was the only service the subscription offer no matter where you buy it. But at the time of my purchase and now on StackSocial webpage, there is no such thing that say 'basic' on it.Īt the time of purchase, the 'Firewall DNS' features was never even introduced and every users received the same features back then: public VPN servers. One reason that they told me is because the subscription I brought on StackSocial is 'basic' and only allow me access to public VPN servers. But I never managed to get anywhere as they kept trying to prolong it with unrelated information such as referring to the Private Servers when I was referring only about additional features such as the 'Firewall DNS' that had been added not long ago. Which I had found this to be unfair and thus the discussion continued for many days over emails and live chats. But those who brought from partner platforms won't have such upgrade or additional feature given to them. When I contacted support, they told me that users who had brought the 'Lifetime' subscription from their Official Website/Platform get given this new feature for free. The new feature itself is included with the 'Lifetime' subscription but I was unable to access it while others can. However, just about a year or less ago, KeepSolid introduced new features, one of which is the 'Firewall DNS' feature. I had brought a 'Lifetime' KeepSolid VPN Unlimited subscription from StackSocial(Official Partner of KeepSolid) back in 2017/2018.Īt that time the services included user connection to public VPN servers, excluding other additional features such as Private Servers or Static IP address that requires additional fees. I want this to go on a record so that other people will NOT even venture to buy any subscription from this company. In the mean time, the service quality NEVER improved and I still can't connect 80% of the time, and when I do get connected by some luck, I get the speed of less than half Mbps (that is 0.5Mbps) on an internet connect of 1Gbps (that is ***** Mbps) I get from my ISP. I tried and tried and it's been now a few months. I tried to contact them for refund, but they are virtually unreachable (meaning they never respond to any of my email request and there is no other way to even contact them - i.e. The problem is that their service won't work about 80% of the time, and when it does, its speed is horribly slow (like less than 1% of the normal speed that is supposed to be achieved). I bought a lifetime subscription for VPN service from this company with an understanding I could get refund within the given window.
